Bottle 75cl. @ [ Back2Bock Tasting ].
[ As my rating #6666 ;o) ]. Clear medium amber color with a large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, mesk, molasses, burnt plastic notes, moderate hoppy, grass, spicy, light to moderate yeasty. Flavor is moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average to long duration, and a dry finish. Body is medium, texture is watery to oily, carbonation is soft. [20081115]

75 cL bottle, joint trade with MiP with BierKönig. Pours clear and golden amber with a slowly collapsing off-white head. Dry malty and slight yeasty aroma. Mild spiced and yeasty flavoured. Holds a mild roasted malt note. Light bitter and vague acidic note. Mild fruity note. Holds an acidic and malty roasted finish.

(Bottle 75 cl) Dark reddish with a lovely, rich head. Spiced sweetness with a discreet, hoppy finish. Malty and full-bodied, some overripe fruit in there too. Interesting and quite unusual as Bocks are terribly rare in Belgium. The back label contains a weird story about flying goats over The Niagara Falls - don’t ask me any further... According to the label this is 6,666% ABV 181297

Bottled. Thanks jbrus!. Reddish amber colour, beige creamy big head. Aroma is caramel, some mild alcohol, hops and yeast. Flavour is the same along with quite strong notes of juniper. Close to normal Chouffe in many ways, but this one has a bit more complexity in my opinion.

[Bottled, thanks BierKönig!. Rating #6666] Muddy reddish brown. Lightly lactic with dusty cherries and coffee up front. Medium sweet with medium body and rounded mouthfeel. There’s toffee and red berries, but the dustiness is so severe it feels like licking the inside of a vacuum cleaner. A beer with many positive features and some obvious drawbacks.

My 6100th Rating. Thanks to MadsNP. Pours cloudy amber with a small creamy white head. Nose is sweet. Fruit and caramel/toffee. Medium and smooth palate. Simple, tasty and well made.

UPDATED: JUL 3, 2003 Cloudy dark amber color. Nice malt aroma and body, with some liquorice; really harmonious, smoother flavor than Mc Chouffe, and a nice, light aftertaste of Fernet Branca.

Bottle, 6.66%. Weak malty and yeasty aroma. Clear dark amber colour. Big stable tan head. The flavour has some rough bitterness and graininess. There is also some yeast. Good maltiness. Quite citric, a bit like too much aroma hop was used.

(750ml bottle, BB 26/08/2011) Pours a hazy golden orange body with a medium off-white head. Aroma of caramel, orange, raisins, and yeast. Flavor of roasted malt, caramel, raisins, yeast, light spruce, and grain.
