COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A unique marriage between the English tradition of IPAs, the new American revolution of Imperial IPAs and the classic Belgian way of brewing. Houblon Chouffe, although very much hopped as it is, showcases the unique balance between a very strong IPA and a very special Belgian Tripel exclusively created for this ale (Big malty body, distinct dryness, expressive estery fruitiness). - IBU: 59, Original Gravity: 1092

Bottle at beertasting with Carsten Bertelsen 19 / 6 2013. Clear light yellow, medium white head. Aroma, cascade hops, weak malt notes, yeast. Taste, interesting, you get the trippel taste, but it starts of very hoppy, yeast/malt in the middle, ends bitter. For me it’s not an ipa, but it’s still good.

What an excelent combinstion! Whish some more breweries would try this, not only white IPA. Light straw color with a medium lssting big head and nices lacing. Aroma ofcsourish yeast, spice, citrus, honey and bread. Taste of goosberries, apple, coreander, malt and yeast. Aftertaste of fresh bread.

Bottle. Pours a hazy yellow with a massive frothy head. The aroma of banana hits you straight away then there is an underlying citrus. Lively carbonation with the taste being bitter as expected with an IPA.

Wow! Pours cloudy orange with a MASSIVE foamy head, it’s great. Aroma is a little citrus but loads of banana and clove as is distinct for Belgian yeast. Taste is of a Belgian wheat beer with all the bitterness of an IPA... it’s an interesting combination, I’m liking it.

---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Very exciting Belgian tripel simmering very nice in the glass. It takes several minutes before the foam falls. Lovely fruity hop aroma with hints of citrus. The taste is very distinctive for an IPA, for overturning not just in with lots of hops from the outset as such. This ale has only a mild and very fine malty taste which small hints of fresh soft fruits will have little room. Next, surpasses it in a slightly acidic citrushumlet fresh taste, like so towards the end becomes slightly more hoppy in a very balanced way.

Bottle. Cloudy yellow with a mostly lasting foamy white head. Good lacing. Aroma of pine, some spice, citrus, sweet. Taste is of citrus, pine, spice, slightly burnt finish. High carbonation, oily mouthfeel.
