COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A unique marriage between the English tradition of IPAs, the new American revolution of Imperial IPAs and the classic Belgian way of brewing. Houblon Chouffe, although very much hopped as it is, showcases the unique balance between a very strong IPA and a very special Belgian Tripel exclusively created for this ale (Big malty body, distinct dryness, expressive estery fruitiness). - IBU: 59, Original Gravity: 1092

On tap @ The Perch in LA. Aroma of coriander, citrus and bread. Light golden color with a thin foam. Strong hops, bread and citrus on the palate. Some masked grapefruit on in the back. Overall, this is a well done tripel ipa with smooth flavor. A- rating..

Lovely beer for people who want to have a blend of belgian style beers with a hint of an IPA Taste is like a typical belgian triple with some nice hops for the bitter ipa taste. This might put off die hard ipa lovers but this one wins over me Very good beer to use during beer tastings to move from ipa to other styles. Or vica versa!

Fruity, Belgium-ness to start then some beautiful bitterness (grassy, citrus). This is much more hopped than Belgiums usually are but all the better for it. Rated by BrewTom

Bottle 750ml. Poured into Brasserie D’achouffe glass. Nice orange color with huge white head. Aroma of sweetish apricots, herbs. Balanced bitter-sweet flavor, apricots, herbs, grass, a bit yeasty, alcoholic. Medium body. Low carbonation. Long lasting grassy aftertaste. Very nice.

Samea, potkua koko lailla, mutta silti aika tasapainoinen meno. Legendapullo ja musavisa pojun ja Peten kanssa.

From .750l bottle Pours a somewhat murky light amber with white head. That’s the best thing about this beer. I am not a big tripel fan to begin with, but this seems more like a Frankenstein’s monster than clever marriage.

In short: hoppy belgian beer. An incredible balance between hops and malts, taste sweet and sour at the same time, very aromatic and kind of drinkable for its strongness.
