A unique marriage between the English tradition of IPAs, the new American revolution of Imperial IPAs and the classic Belgian way of brewing. Houblon Chouffe, although very much hopped as it is, showcases the unique balance between a very strong IPA and a very special Belgian Tripel exclusively created for this ale (Big malty body, distinct dryness, expressive estery fruitiness). - IBU: 59, Original Gravity: 1092

Not much in the aroma, kinda smells like a Czech pils. Beer pours very pale, slightly cloudy with a champagne like head. Beer tastes crisp and fresh like a light Belgian triple. Peppery yeast favours, with that Belgian sweetness. A touch of fruity esters also present. Don’t really get any hop presence, but actually get a bit of skunkiness. This beer is ok... must be a bit old from reading the description. highlight is defiantly the yeast flavour profile.

Bottle from J - Golden color with a disapperaring head. Nice notes of tropical fruits, yeasty, very round. Strong malty body and a relaxing dry finish. Moreish despite the high - and well hidden - alcohol content. Great one.

Bottle. Hazy goldish color, quit light. Nice white head. Tast hopbitter, yeast, sweet and sour, a little hint of lemon. A littlebit harsh, but not unpleasant. Bittersweet hoppy taste remains.

0.33 bottle. Hazy, gold color with some suspension and a small, white head. Aroma of citruses, yeasts, pale malts, and quite a pack of flowers. Taste is hoppy, yeasty, piney, citric, both sweet and sour. A medium body, a creamy yet slick texture, and a fizzy carbonation. Finish is medium long and quite tasty. Overall the beer is good and drinkable - it is a funny yet workable combination of flavors.

Bottle. Slightly sour but also yeasty aroma. Pours hazy gold, minimal head. Big boozy hit. Hops, yeast, bitterness, lemon. Tastes of lemon, booze, yeast. Fades a bit in the glass but a proper Belgian IPA. Nice Bit dangerous mind....

Helder lichtgouden bier met flinke witte schuimkraag. Aroma: kruiden, hop, gedroogde abrikozen en perziken. Smaak: kruidig, hoppig, bitterig.
