COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A unique marriage between the English tradition of IPAs, the new American revolution of Imperial IPAs and the classic Belgian way of brewing. Houblon Chouffe, although very much hopped as it is, showcases the unique balance between a very strong IPA and a very special Belgian Tripel exclusively created for this ale (Big malty body, distinct dryness, expressive estery fruitiness). - IBU: 59, Original Gravity: 1092

Ottima birra belga una tripel. Gusto pieno aromatico che ricorda un po’ il profumo del miele dei fiori d’arancio. Birra corposa con schiuma densa simile a panna. Retrogusto persistente.

Bottle at the Wellington Arms, Bedford. Golden and slightly hazy with a milky white film of head on top. Muted grassy hop smell with a note of sugary yeast. Sweet, strong yeasty taste. Belies the high strength. Perfectly carbonated. A beer to enjoy but maybe not to love.

Bottle at hopaholic. Clear yellow colour, big, bubbly white head. Nose is strong cilantro, low hops. Taste is low bitterness that turns into a strong, medicine like bitterness. Might be Shonalis fauvorite but I dont like it that much.

Pullossa lukee best before end 2014. En tiedä montako vuotta vanhaa tämä on. Kirkas kullankeltainen, hieman kupariseen kallellaan oleva olut vaahtoaa kaadettaessa runsaasti. Jättää myös kivasti pitsiä. Saippuainen ja hedelmäinen sekä havuisen ruohoinen tuoksu. Maku mausteinen, havuinen, ruohoinen ja hedelmäinen. Oikein mainio ja täyteläinen kokonaisuus ja runsas makumaailma toimii saumattomasti yhteen.

Big fluffy head, decently persistent, some lacing. Intense but not very complex aroma: resinous bitterness, lemon, a hint of spiciness. In the taste: crackery malts foundation, dominant herbal and resinous bitter notes, lemon. Dry finish, bitter aftertaste.

Tap@DeliriumTaphouse. Pours hazy golden with lazing beige head. Aroma has biscuit, light bread and caramel along with citrussy, grassy hops. Taste is balanced hoppy with citrus and grass and malty with biscuit, bread and light malt. Finish is quite dry and alcohol is hidden well behind the hops.

Hazy golden with big white head. Spicy Belgian esters, honey and noble hops. Slick and complex finish. Great!
