On tap Janoinen Lohi, Helsinki. A cloudy pale yellow color with a little but dense white head. The aroma displays floral hoppiness, spiciness and plenty of fruity aspects such as lemon and apple. Taste is light sweet, full of fresh fruitiness; orange, apple, some pear feature. Aftertaste is drier. Some hayish maltiness, very little hop bitterness appear. The palate is medium bodied, smooth and low on carbonation. A summer ale if ever there is one.

It is an average beer. The taste is almost the same than a hofbrau sommer. The colour is a typical belgian gold trouble yellow colour. The carbonation is normal-sparkling. We smell the hop and it is maybe the saaz because we can feel some influence of grapefruit. I was drinking this beer yesterday and it is a good when the weather is hot.

(Keg at Hilpeä Hauki, 20150714) The beer poured golden and clear. Its head was medium sized, white and it lasted long. Aroma had fruitiness, spiciness and Belgian style yeast. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were fruitiness, spiciness, yeast, malts, grass and bitterness. Aftertaste was fruity and bitter. A decet hoppy Belgian ale.

Bottle. Curious Hop, Otley. Hazy gold. Film of white, lasting head. Citrus hop. Big on the lime. A little bit bready, and yeasty. Something sweet in there, akin to coconut or lemongrass. Taste is soft sweet. Very mild bittness. Palate is a bit soda pop. Finishes light bitter. Smells good. Tails off a bit after that.

Colore dorato, schiuma abbondante. Profumo di malto, caramello, spezie (coriandolo), citrico, leggero terroso/erbaceo. Molto frizzante in bocca, sapore maltato, speziato, finale amarognolo.

Bottled, 330 ml. Opal yellow colour, medium sized white head, which leaves a thin film behind. Nose has lemon, bread and mild honey. Aroma brings the same added by herbs. Dry, gently warming finish with tart citrusses and spicy hops. Nice refresher.

Lore (1475) - Budapest, HUNGARY - JUL 4, 2015
opalescent yellow colour, moderate sized off-white head; aroma of yeast, citruses, some floral, and minimal peppery notes; taste of malty sweetness, citruses, yeast, and some spiciness; intensive carbonation; great beer for a hot summer afternoon
