1.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20 wimpyjoe (429) - Greater Manchester, ENGLAND - DEC 2, 2011
Excellent aroma, but that is all, this is an extremely weak bodied ale and no flavour as a result.

9th July 2008. One year past it’s BBE date. Watery palate. No bitterness but a sour dry finish. Brown in colour but not picking any malt up from this. Another weird beer from this brewery.
3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 Quack-Duck (5921) - Down South, GERMANY - SEP 12, 2008
bottle. Hazy brown colour, large beige head. Malty nose. Light-bodied, mild in flavour. Shy Malty base with some flavours of roasetd malt. Rather dry mouthfeel with good aromatic hops. In some ways it reminds me of a Dry Stout. Not spctacular but rather nice.
3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 MiP (11783) - Sønderborg, DENMARK - SEP 8, 2008

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 imdownthepub (7473) - Banbury, Oxfordshire, ENGLAND - FEB 3, 2007
Cask conditioned at The Dun Cow Winter Beer Fest ’07. Reddish amber with a white head. Not best described as a bitter, more crossing over to an Irish red Ale for me. Smooth and creamy with hints of sweetness initially. A fleshy fruitiness with a hoppy bitter finish. There is a lemony tartness at the end, quite quenching and full.
2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 JonMoore (1573) - Loughborough, Leicestershire, ENGLAND - JUN 22, 2006
Bottle conditioned. Slim and soon gone white head on a murky reddish brown body. Malty aroma. Sweet and roasted malt taste with a light bitter finish. Medium bodied, quite dry. Not bad, but not a bitter.
3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 Nekronos (2655) - Xalapa, MEXICO - APR 25, 2006
Veyr nice, the colour is nice and gives a little idea of a cinnamon alike beer, nce bubbling head, not really bitter.
3.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 Sigmund (3712) - Hafrsfjord, NORWAY - OCT 8, 2004
Cask conditioned at the Ipswich Beer Festival 2004, gravity dispense. I had a sip or two of chris_o’s sample of this beer at the festival, and found his rating to be quite accurate. This organic dark ale is not a typical best bitter, more of a cross between a bitter and a mild, like chris_o says.
