Mar 21, 2007 Bottle sampled on 11/8/06: Pours a transparent dark copper mahogany with a wispy-lacing white head. Dry, toasty, grainy aroma has an authentic German lager profile. Body starts lightly sweet and caramely toward a grainier toasty dark malty finish. Decently balanced and authentic.

Sep 30, 2005 Bottle... Deep, clear copper lager with a large, frothy, off-white head. Excellent, creamy retention. The nose and flavor are of chocolate, caramel malt, aluminum and very light maple syrup. Medium-bodied and watery with lively carbonation. Finishes clean, but thin.
