COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

24.01.2013. On tap at the brewpub, Christianssand Brygghus. Dark brown colour with off-white head. Aroma of dark malts. Very dry with strong bitterness. Flavours of bitter hops and there is something like burnt malts and brown sugar without the sweetness. Very dry bitter aftertaste.

On tap @Christianssand Brygghus. A tan lacing head, over near-clear mahogny colored body. Nuts, biscuits and roasted caramel to the nose. Taste has a fine roast charcter. More roasted, or maybe burnt caramel, with nutty and biscuity tones. Balancing bitterness. Full for a 5% beer. A very tasty and nicely balanced Brown. [01.12.12]

On tap at the brewpub. It’s a clear, auburn beer beer, topped by a dense, light beige head. Roasted, nutty nose with a light roasted touch. Some dried fruits too. Maybe a tad on the sweet side, like several other of the beers from this brewery, but it’s pleasant anyway. Roasted malts, nuts, some coffee and roasted malts. A pleasant bitterness chimes in towards the end. Full to medium body, soft on the palate. Yet another easy drinkable one from this brewery. 120906
