Christoffel Blond is a bottom fermented golden-coloured beer with a full body, a very balanced taste and a beautiful bitterness due to a generous addition of fresh hop during the brewing-process. The aroma is fruity and has a fresh taste with a pleasant, hoppy finish.

Pours a rich hazy golden color with few bubbles and a large rocky tan head... looks like someone put a scoop of ice-cream in my beer. Floral spicy hop aroma with some rich toasty malts backing it up. Very bready first taste, butterscotch, and bitter earthy hops. Rich finish. Velvety medium/full body. A good beer and an interesting pilsner, malty.

0.33L bottle, courtesy of Ryan. Thanks! Pours a slightly hazy, golden-orange color; textured off-white head with great retention and tight, fine-bubbled lacing that coats the glass; great pour. Very nice, crisp aroma: candied fruits, lime-infused bitterness, minerals, crackers; far more complexity than one would expect from something so crisp and dry; excellent. Medium mouthfeel: mouthwatering acidity and citrus and mineral bitterness upfront; the lime note follows from the nose, along with dry crackers, zesty hops, and excellent drinkability; lively levels of carbonation keep it alive in the mouth; dry, crisp, generously hopped pilsener, with the added bonus of a very solid candied fruit / authentic candy sugar character that doesn’t come off sticky or distracting. Excellent stuff. Thanks to Ryan for bringing back a fresh bottle of this from Michigan. Lengthy finish: dry breadiness and crackers, toasted malts, and lasting zesty minerals and lime.

Via trade with matt7215. Thanks! This is a very good pilsener Aroma was a bit fruity with a lemon tang. Pour was a cloudy gold/near orange with a nice 2 finger white head. Taste was a little sweeter than I was expecting, but very crisp and refreshing. Bread and yeast in the front with a mouth drying hoppy bitterness in the aftertaste. Nice prickly carbonation.

Tasted at SDCF. Hazy golden with a foamy white head. Fruity sweet aroma and taste with a bready, belgian yeast, and a crisp semi-dry finish.

Finally found a fresh bottle of this to rate. Hazy golden body with medium sized, frothy white head. The nose is well balanced blend of doughy, honey malt and earthy, herbal hops. The taste is just about perfect. Just a touch of sweetness, lots of bitterness, very hop forward with a nice taste of spicy herbs. Malts are doughy with a touch of cotton candy and honey. Finishes with clean yeast and solid, lasting bitterness. Medium body is round and smooth with moderate, tight carbonation. Brilliant. An absolute classic.

Unclear yellow-orange colour, medium white head. Aroma is hoppy and fruity. Very much carbonated. Taste is malty with some dry, grassy hops.
