Styles (1654), Lincoln Park, Michigan, USA Oct 13, 2007 golden withhuge white head, never fades, great lacing. Big floral/grass/hay aroma. Pils malt sweetness in the background. Flavor exactly as advertisedd. Some fruity esters to start, followed by a huge grassiness through the middle, floral kicks in again near the finish. Not as clean as I expected. Tad too much grass for my liking, otherwise decent.
Rocking head but hazy fluide, never the less, fine looking beer, good hop aroma and bitterness, a fine beer. swoopjones (1862), Buffalo, New York, USA Sep 29, 2007 Bottle @ Gollem, Amsterdam. Pale to medium blonde yellow color. Medium carbonation. Floral, slighly fruity. Dry pilsner finish. Nice beer thewolf (5621), Kolding, Denmark Sep 27, 2007 Bottle, bought @ LIVA, Kolding (Domhusgade). A light hazy pale yellow with a medium bubbly yellowish head. Aroma is citric with pineapple and a floral hoppy edge to it. Mouthfeel is very round. Flavour is a complex mixture of citric bitterness, malty caramel and sweetness as well as tones of honey, pine, oranges and spices. Very nice pilsner. Pailhead (2572), Allen Park, Michigan, USA Sep 26, 2007 Bottle: The aroma is moderate citrus and lemon with with equal parts floral and piney hops and light yeastiness. Pours a hazy orange with a moderate white head that lasts a minute or so and leaves behind great lacing. The flavor starts with a light fruitiness with hints of lemon, sweet orange, and faint yeast. The finish is lightly floral with a hint of piney hops. Light, bordering on medium, bodied with soft carbonation. Certainly more than I’ve come to expect from a pilsner. xnoxhatex (1305), Grand Rapids/Chicago, Michigan, USA Sep 22, 2007 11.2 fl oz from west lakeview liqours in Chicago. Very hazy orange-yellow appearance with small off-white head. Aroma is very sweet light fruit, red grapes, sweet apple, very pleasant. Sweet fruit hits the palate first followed up by some subdued grain, rich caramel and some dough and vanilla, not bad. Thin to medium body with light carb. A very pleasing pilsener. Bobsy (194), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Sep 19, 2007 Updated: Nov 6, 2007Nice bottle! Good golden color with a frothy head, and nose of wheat and grass. Taste is full of grain and hops, with a long finish. Too much grain here for me.
