Commercial Description:
Unfiltered bottle.
Ingredients: Water, Barely Malt, Hops, Yeast.
Christoffel Blond is a bottom fermented golden-coloured beer with a full body, a very balanced taste and a beautiful bitterness due to a generous addition of fresh hop during the brewing-process. The aroma is fruity and has a fresh taste with a pleasant, hoppy finish.

330ml Bottle: Interesting bottle, it’s probably what attracted me to it in the first place. Aroma of citrus fruits and hops, poured a cloudy yellow and never cleared up. At this point I almost felt I was dipping into a hefe but the flavour made no mistake of that. Hops, hops, hops, with a touch of hops. Quite bitter, but not so overbearing as the Orval I had a little while back. Enjoyable, but not for me.

Bottle bought at the L.C.B.O. in Ottawa. The color is hazy honey with a thick white head. The taste is of hops and some citrus fruits. It is good as a pilsner wich is not my favorite kind but still good.

This pils poured a cloudy yellow with a non-existant head. To the nose you can smell lemons, tangerines and oranges. Lots of citrus. Spicey but the citrus is very overpowering. First sip is just as full of citrus as the nose. Immediately strong flavours of grapefruit and orange/lemon. Very hoppy!!! Citrus last through the end. Palate is very hoppy with a little bitterness. Not my ideal beer but very complex.

Very hazy orange-brown pour. Dark tint with a thin white head. Grainy malt arom with some tart spice. Bitter grain flavor with almost a rye-like twang to it. Slightly spicy with some tartness. Honey and molasses notes.

Bottle. The head on this was explosive, but died down very quickly. There are some fairly strong aromas: pine, grass, floral hints, bread. This is orange, cloudy, though mine lost its carbonation quickly; maybe try a pilsner glass. I taste a fair amount of hop bitterness, orange, lemon, honey. Watery mouthfeel; long bitter finish.

bottle. Why can’t all dutch lagers be this good? pours a hazy golden with a small white head. Aroma of bitter hops, with pine and citrus. Flavor is slightly sweet and malty, grass and a bit of spicy is present too. perfectively balenced. Agrresive hops finish. One of the most refreshing beers I’ve had.

Pours A hazy golden colour with a white head. Aromas of floral and citric hops, touch of sweet malt. The taste was good and hoppy, bitter hops and citric hops mostly lemon, had a good malt balance and lively carbonation. A very drinkable brew.High end lawnmowin’ beer? Indeed.

Hazy light staw in color with a floral, hony, hoppy, citrus aroma. Flavour is very commercial and metallic.
