Taste is quite sharp, dry hoppy goodness...so refreshing, nice bitter finish. A great summertime brew, I don’t expect to find a better pilsener than this. manuchampions (139), Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada

Crisp hop flavor, slightly opaque golden colour, large head on pouring. Delicate but rich flavour. Excellent. Crosling (1856), Loveland, Colorado, USA

Immense nose hints of spicy fresh hops and bright fruit. Hop flavor is mind-blowingly intricate. Peppery, spicy, super fruity, herbal, fresh. Very noble-like, but great utilization. Brilliant lager! ryananderson (74), Ontario, Canada
| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 18/20 | Oct 6, 2005 Moderately bitter aroma with notes of lemon and banana. Pours a large white head which produces good lacing and is mostly lasting. Appearance is hazy yellow. Initial flavour is moderately bitter and the finish is dry with moderate bitterness and light sweetness. The bitterness and alcohol produce a slight warming effect. Carbonation is soft to lively. A very good beer. DerWeg (783), Toronto, Ontario, Canada

I’m hop-blinded by the aromas and tastes, but the beer has balanced sweetness under there too. Honey and hay are in the aromatic flavors. Creamy feel with late bitter finish. Super fresh at LCBO when it arrives. beergut111 (210), Toronto, Ontario, Canada

Nose of malts, citrus and hops, flowery. Taste is soft, malty, and a good deal of bitterness. Really smooth and quaffable, excellent beer to start off the evening. morangochris (2), Budapest, Hungary does not count | 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Jun 8, 2009 This is still my reference if I drink a pilsner.
The beer is unfiltered, amber colour, bit hazy. You smell the richness of the hops. The taste is sweet yet bitter of the hops.
