COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Unfiltered bottle.
Ingredients: Water, Barely Malt, Hops, Yeast.
Christoffel Blond is a bottom fermented golden-coloured beer with a full body, a very balanced taste and a beautiful bitterness due to a generous addition of fresh hop during the brewing-process. The aroma is fruity and has a fresh taste with a pleasant, hoppy finish.

A very nice beer, hazy yellow appearance with nice head, hoppy and herbaceous? nose, quite dry, bitter finish, highly enjoyable.

re-rate, 06/21/02: finally I got the possibility to retry this beer ! cloudy orange colour, nice head and lace, very impressive hoppy aroma, herbal, full with a very long bitter finish - Oakes was right (hey ! He cannot always be wrong :-)): this IS a great beer
2000: Just for Oakes, I HAVE to retry this beer. I just cannot believe we are so far from each other on this one...

Fruit and hop scent. Cloudy orange colour, big foamy head. Bold first taste seems stronger than 5.5%, very hoppy. Slightly acidic, complex. Very good, now that’s a Pilsener!

Pale colored, deceptively a la Budweiser, with a faint cloudiness. Frothy white head that forms cool peaks and valleys. Nice lemongrass/grain aroma. Smooth malt front, and a not-too-agressive hoppiness. Sublime balance makes for the best ’light’ beer I’ve had yet, and a steal at $1.49 per 11.2 oz bottle.

Sweet hoppy aroma. Very sharp dry taste, with more mellow malty overtones. Long-lasting aftertaste which finishes off bitter. A very interesting beer.

Fruity and perfume aroma. Yellow (not golden) colour. Cloudy, nice head. Sweet, bit soapy, full, some fruits. Dry finish, hop bitter. The hop taste lasts very long.

The bottle I tried must have been on the import store shelf alittle too long.
