die flasche ist ok.
fazit: ist doch schön, dass man auch aus schlichtem lager mit mehr alk und mehr hopfen ein vernünftiges bier machen kann. gut trinkbar.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20 Douberd (633) - NETHERLANDS - MAR 25, 2013
330 ml swing top bottle, at home. Poured into a tulip glass. ABV 8.7%. The sticker mentioned on the commercial description is actually part of the front label on my bottle, also round and saying Special Edition.
Nice light orange colour on the body. Quite hazy. A bit more of one finger of head, white in colour, average retention and light lacing left around the glass.
Nice fruity aroma, along with yeast and dough.
Quite bitter taste from the very start. Lots of herbs-like flavour, floral notes, along with a somewhat medicinal aftertaste, which tends to disaapear as the beer gets a bit warmer. The alcohol very well hidden on the taste.
Medium thick on the body and average carbonation.
Overall another good beer from Christoffel.

Malty, hoppy taste with citrus, bready malt, black-currant and a generous grassy bitterness in a fairly dry finish. More than medium body, with just a touch of sweetness. Fresh and tasty. Nice one.
