UPDATED: AUG 1, 2011 On tap, at blue monk-buffalo. This is a great beer, I really liked this one. It taste similar to there regular pilsner, with a light wood flavour, not an over powering wood flavour ethier, this one is quite nice. I could really go for another one of these.

Draft at Churchkey, courtesy of Nahem and crowd, thanks! Cloudy yellow, edge head. Aroma of orange juice. Taste is slightly sour citrus, with a nice malt balance. One of the most creative and unique beers I’ve had recently, a very pleasant surprise.

On tap at Farmer’s Cabinet. first glass from keg. Lightly rocky white head, hazy gold, egg yoke color, heavy white lacing. Light tea quality typically found in an aged blonde, more fresh hop throughout though, light and earthy with enough clean pale to balance, though carbonation should be higher to elevate murky tea notes. Preferred this to tipopils which I drank side-by-side.

Pours a golden beer with a good white head. Smells really good. A bit grapefruit. Lots of tastes. To bad its bankrupt. Good palate, dry sticky finish.

UPDATED: JAN 30, 2014 Great looking orange hazy body and white foamy head. Pleasant aroma of oranges, candy banana, cereal, lemon and fresh herbs. Tastes exactly like expected, with a fresh juicy flavour and light dry hoppyness. Delicious and drinkable. Better than the standard one too. Perfect for a warm summer day - everything I always hope for in a Belgian wit but never seem to find I find in this Imperial Pils. (33cl bottle) (Rating re-indexed)

A light hazy golden colored beer, with a thick foamy white head. The aroma of fruits like citrus with bitter hop. The taste is fruity, citrus with mango. Bitter hops moving too some gentle sweet bitter. The aftertaste is bitter with sweet.

A delicious full flavoured pale lager with a mild zesty finish really enjoyable and the 8.7% is not over powering in the beer !

Bottle at tasting. Pours a clear golden color with a small white head that leaves lacing. Aroma is of hoppy citrus, some pine and grapefruit. Flavor is sweet and bitter with nice fruity citrussy hops and with some malts. Bitter and floral in the finish. Well balanced, nice body. Even better than the original. Creamy texture and above average carbonation.

33 cl. bottle @ home, bought @ Mitra. Hazy old yellow with a white head. Aroma of yeast, floral hops and ripe fruits, even more fruity than the normal Nobel ofcourse thanks to the extra hops. Medium bitter with a long fullfilling aftertaste. As I said in my review of the normal Nobel: ’Strong Pale Lager’ doesn’t do enough justice to Christoffel Nobel to describe this excellent underfermented beer.
