Swingtop bottle 0,33ltr: Hazy yellow brew from this brewery familiar of its hoppy and bitter beers, and this new one is no exception.

Swing top bottle (BB 12/2010). Thanks bierkoning. Hazy yellow color, small white head, lace. Cat piss, barnyard nose. Cat piss, grassy fresh hay, sweet lemony flavor. Lively carbonation. Long lingering bitterness. This is an extreme cat piss -hop experience. Similar to Plevna Severin.

Bottled. Hazy pale orange colour, mediumsized white head. Aroma is barnyard, some spices and mild fruityness lurking in the background. Flavour is fruity, grassy and very refreshing. Some slight herbal notes as well as some yeastyness.

Orange colored brew. Hoppy aroma, european style. Yeasty, malty, dry hoppy flavor. Thick mouthfee, some apple. Nice brew.

Bottle 33 cl. Pours a clear yellow with a small white head and a spicy aroma with some malts in there too. The taste is very hoppy, both floral and spicey, I detect cinnamon, coriander, something peppery, lemon and apple and some malty sweetness. A long and very nice bitter finish. A lovely new brew

UPDATED: AUG 14, 2009 A little hazy, yellow/golden colored beer, with a thick foamy white head. The aroma of hops, with fruits like citrus/lemon. A little spicey. The taste of bitter hops, a little liquorice and mint. There are some spices like koriander. Fruity like citrus. It is a little dry and bitter. The aftertaste is long and in a lovely way bitter. A very good newcomer of the Christoffel brewery.

Bottled. Aroma has hops and fruitiness. Hazy, blonde coloured beer with a white head. Taste is a bit malty, fruity, some grass, citrus. Medium bodied. Didn’t really taste like a strong IPA. However, well brewed, well balanced and has quality ingredients. Well worth a try!

UPDATED: MAY 4, 2010 Bottle from De Bierkoning. Very cloudy, almost milky yellow colour, creamy white head. Aroma of sweet citrusfruits, mostly lemons, hops, a hint of alcohol. Flavour is soft and sweet, lemon, a hint of mint and some alcohol. Soft grassy/earthy bitter finish. Really good and fullbodied, soft carbonation and rounded mouthfeel. It’s actually an unfiltered strong lager, but with all the qualities of a good strong IPA. Very well done! 849418 Re-rate: I’ve had this a couple of times now, and am not as enthousiastic as I was before, especially not when it’s from tap. The combination of the alcohol with the hops is quite harsh at times, and it’s rather sweet imo. Still a really good beer, but not a 4.3. 748416

At an mitra in purmerend, 330ml beugelbottle, golden/orange, smal head, full fruits with spicy hinds, lots of nice flavor, very nice one.
