33CL bottle at home, bought at my last minute run after I found out Christoffel brewery was Bankrupt. Dark Orange/Brown beer, Aroma reminds me of the German Malzbeer called Karamalz, Taste had a bit of sweetness. Overall a good beer.

aroma: zoet, koffie, toffee, caramout, rood fruit, rozijnen
smaken: medium zoet, licht bitter, karamel, gerst, tarwe
lichte body, dun, laag co2, afdronk: zoetig en droog, niet bijzonder, aroma is beter dan de smaak

Bottle. Pours a cloudy darker orange, almost brown beer with a medium sized, off white head. Aroma has touches of banan, sugar, pineapple and bay leaves in the background. Quite interesting, yet a bit disturbing for a dunkelweizen. Flavour is bland, medium sweet but not much going on here. Overall not too impressed by this one.. Decent and average, that’s all.

330 ml swing top bottle, poured into a weizen glass. ABV 6% Slighty hazy body, dark brown in colour, with a finger of beige head. Low retention and no lacing left behind. But what an impressive colour! Aroma of malts, caramel red grapes and stewed fruits. Very good. Taste is mildly sweet at first, with lots of chocolate in it. Aftertaste slighty bitter, again with chocolate and stewed dark fruits. Medium to full body, good amount of carbonation and nice dryness on the palate. Overall, this was a great beer. I had it for almost a year in my cellar and I am drinking this very close to its expiration date, too bad that the company went out of bussiness. I would love to try one fresh and see of there is any difference.

Poured a slightly cloudy medium brown with an off white head. Aroma of caramel malt, dark sugar and some dry fruit. Medium body, flavour of butterscotch and some grassy hops.

Donkerbruine kleur, de kraag is redelijk snel weg. Ruikt lekker naar caramel. Smaakt naar mout, caramel, ilichtzoet met een wat bittere afdronk. Best te drinken.

Somewhat hazy dark copper color with small off-white foam head. Aroma is bit weak, bit sweet, not bad. Taste is sweet, fruity, banana. Aftertaste starts sweet, slowly getting more bitter. (Velp 201302) ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

worldbeertaste (1119) - Lancashire, ENGLAND - FEB 6, 2013
Dark brown with a red tint and a thin, off-white, quick disappearing, fizzy head. Smells of dark fruit – raisins, lots of caramel and brown sugar but mostly sweet malt. Some light dark malt and biscuit notes. Full oily body with soft carbonation. Very sweet caramel, taste with a light bitter fruit dry finish. Some grass lingers. Grainy. Nice and sweet and easy to drink but the shift from sweet to grassy is a little sharp. Nonetheless, nice to drink but not that bitter.

33cl bottle @ home shared with Dutchdrebus. Murky brownish color with a small beige head. Smell is weird, wet leaves is what comes to mind. Taste isn’t really great either. It’s drinkable but I don’t really like it. It’s not my style either so that also doesn’t help. Low to medium bodyand carbonation.

Bottle @ benzai. Hazy brown with no head. Smells sweet, malty, hay. Tastes sweet, brown sugar, malty.. Not bad but not great. Soft carbo, medium body.
