Draft at Uber. Brown-ruby, clear pour with frothy white head. Aroma: malty. Caramel, cherry, dough. The usual things I guess i smell in these dark lagers. Taste: not particularly sweet. Toast, cereal, even a hint of chocolate. Light sweetness, minimal bitterness. Nice, quaffable, toasted flavors. Light body, average carbonation. Overall: Chuckanut, I like your beers. Glad my first dunkel came from you.

Pour on tap at GABF, dark reddish brown pour with thin off white head, aroma brought notes of slight dark fruits, cocoa, nuts, hints of grass, slight earthy tones, hints of slight red fruity notes as well come through. Taste is a mix of slight sweet fruit, lots of caramel, toffee, spice notes come through going into some grassy and herbal notes, finishing bitter, dry.

Medium in body and with a smooth creamy mouthfeel. Flavor is roasted malts, some chocolate, and a little nuts. Finish shows some fruit. Smooth lager that is very easy drinking.

Sampled at 10/13/2012 at GABF. This Dunkel pours a light brown color from the tap. Medium sized white foamy head. The aroma is caramel, fruity and sweet. A medium to light bodied Dunkel. The malts are caramel, fruity and sweet, a touch bready. The hops are herbal and earthy. Nice carbonation. Good balance. Very smooth tasting. Nice bready malts. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly sweet.
