Never had a Sticke alt beer before. Has a bitter-sweet taste that’s not too dissimilar from chocolate. Dissipates pretty cleanly from the pallet leaving a sweetness similar to honey on my tounge.

On tap at St. Augustine’s, pours a clear copper with a white head. Aroma of light toasted malt, nuts and a light fruity quality. Flavour of some odd, indiscernible spices, probably created by the blend of German hops, along with some stale biscuity malt. Not too pleasant.

Deep amber with a nice malty aroma. Decent hop oresense really reminds me of a lower alcohol barletwine. Really nice

Clear dark amber color/ beige head. Spicy caramel, sweet malt powder aromas. medium bodied. Sweet n’ spicy toffee, brown sugar flavors with drying spicy hops to balance. Old school northwest ale.

Pint – Naked City Taphouse – Seattle, WA
Aroma – Good German malt aroma with a nice hops aroma. Floral with some citrus.
Appearance – Amber with a tint of red. Clear, with a thin head.
Flavor – Malty with a slight roast. This had some earth flavors and the nice amount of hops flavoring.
Palate – Dry finish with a Nice Mouthfeel.
Overall – Tasty Alt beer.

Full amber, woody looking with a thin, incomplete head. Decent malty nose with a solid array of German malts in the body, each in moderate proportions. I would liken this to a cross between an Oktoberfest and an Alt. Subtle warming melanoidins.

On tap at Naked City. Pours a dark brown/red color with a medium white head. A rich fruity and toasted nose. The flavor is nice; toasted malts, huge fruit, nutty and smooth.

Chuckanut Sticke Secret Alt. 4 ounce taste @ Seattle Beer Week Last Call Festival 5/23/2010. 6.00% ABV. 50 IBU’s. Lacy white head. Clear rich red color. Sweet floral hop front. Sweet fruity cherry caramel body. Slightly creamy crisp mild hop spice end. Thick, sweet Alt. (3.0 / 5.0).

Nice and fruity, caramel, some sugars, dark bread, some fruity hops. Pours copper, thin white ring. Caramel, bread, ligfht earthy hops. Nice smooth mouthfeel. Very enjoyable stuff. Very drinkable.

draft at naked city. pours a nearly clear but very dark brown with btight amber edges. dense creamy ring of tan foam. brown sugar and a bit of molasses on the nose, nice malt sugar aromatics. creamy medium body with lively carb. brown sugar, molasses, and dense brown bread notes on the mid palate. long somewhat sugary finish.
