COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our next available specialty beer is the Belgian Strong Ale. You will notice the color is as dark as our Bell Tower Brown. This comes from the chocolate and caramel malt as well as the addition of Belgian candi sugar. This beer is full bodied with a fruity complexity from the yeast and soft flavors from the caramel malts. The hop profile is pretty heavy with the addition of Sorachi Ace and Citra hops. The alcohol level is high although you wouldn’t know it from the smooth finish of this beer. I hope everyone enjoys our spin on this relatively new style of beer.

Draught @ Brewpub. This one pours a dark, cloudy amber color. There was a small white head that dropped off quickly. It left a fair amount of lacing. Mainly a citrus and pine nose, yet subdued. Also subdued notes of caramel malts, dark fruits and breadiness. The taste is good. Very malty, yet some citrus and pine bitterness on top. Faint caramel malts, breadiness and a subdued sweetness. I’d call this more of a Belgian DIPA than anything else. Nice.
