3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
On tap at the brewpub. Pours a hazy burnt orange with a thick white head. Aroma of melon rind, bready malt, sweet toasted malt. Flavor of orange peel, citrus hops, bitter melon rind, spices including anise and clove, and malt. More Belgian-y than IPA-forward but there is some bitter hops flavor in the flavor plus the orange citrus. Tasty!

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
This poured a semi cloudy yellow to orange with a white head. Aroma was nice fruintess, seemed to be both from the hops and the yeast character. Some herbal and spice notes too. Flavor was a very nice blend of IPA and belgian character, nice and spicey, mainly clove and coriander, blended well with lemon peel, citrus fruits and herbal notes. I;m impressed.
