Oct 15, 2007 Draft at Capone’s. Somewhat hazy gold pour with off-white head. The aroma is fruity, with spices and hopcitrus, giving a citric flavor, with mid-palate mild spicy notes, some fruity hints, and a crisp finish.

Nov 9, 2004 Yellow glassy look with a decent foam head on top. Smell is a slightly sour spicey malt, bit of lemon in the scent as well. Flavor is crisp, yet still hangs onto a considerable malt texture in the finish. The palate is very smooth, just a small crisp feel towards the end but then it follows it with the maltier side of the beer. Quite a good drinkable brew.

Oct 26, 2004 Updated: Aug 17, 2006Amber clear color, obviously filtered, with thin white head. Grassy mint citrus aroma. Decent witbier, more grassy and spicy than fruity or citrusy. Light malt with decent bittering finish.
A second sampling as "Half Wit". This one was pretty weak and I have no idea what audience this targets, other than converts of Iron City or IC Light who want to drink something ’Belgian’. Very little aroma, just some citrus notes. Beany. Pale white-yellow hazy with thin lacing head. Watery body. Dusty grains and mild hops. Almost saccharin in the finish and after. Downgraded rating from 3.2 to 2.7.
