3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 DasBierChef (1080) - Hudson, Wisconsin, USA - JUN 28, 2012Very impressed with this. The cherry is slight and not overwhelming, just enough to make it a bit more refreshing. The ABV is noticable but not over the top. Tasty as hell.
2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 Glouglouburp (5562) - Montreal, Quebec, CANADA - APR 25, 2013
In short: A boring no-style strong amber ale that doesn’t offer much of anything.
How: Bottle 750ml. Not sure about the age, don’t remember when or where I got this.
The look: Cloudy dark amber body with lots of small particles topped by a beige ring of foam.
In long: Nose is a bit toasted, a sensation of sweet fake-simulated fruit something. Taste is sweet, fruit flavored lollipop, toasted bread crust, fruit seeds, wet paper. Not only did I not find much Abt character here but I didn’t even find much cherry flavor in this cherry Quad. Medium body, medium carbonation. There is no depth to this beer. Nothing good to be found here but the beer is not very tasty at all so at this end it is more an extremely boring beer than a bad beer. Not bad, just very boring, and I prefer to drink a boring beer than to drink a bad beer, my problem is I prefer to drink a bad beer than to drink any other liquid.
3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 coolpop (1163) - Birmingham, Alabama, USA - JAN 20, 2013
Draft. Pours deep amber with a smallish off-white head. Aroma was cherry, malt, light yeast and earth. Flavor was lots of cherry, quite sweet, lightly sour, minimal funk. Didn’t get the complex fruit flavors or deep earthiness I expect in a good quad. Nice but not terribly special.

750 ml bottle courtesy of Doodler ( thanks Scott) poured a clear reddish amber with a lingering ring of amber foam. Aromas of carmel, cherry, earthiness and light wood. Palate was light bodied and crisp. Flavors of carmel, cherry, toffee and light earthiness with a crisp lingering fruity finish.
3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 tcane7 (807) - Pennsylvania, USA - NOV 5, 2012
Bottle with Ray and Megan. Pours a hazy dark reddish-amber with tan-red head and lacing. Sweet cherries, raisins, some caramel malt. The cherry flavor is not over-the-top, pretty well balanced. Good beer.

750 bottle thanks to Tommy. Pours hazy copper-is this a quad?? Nose is mild fruity, yeasty. Taste is lots of yeast, a little sour (quad??) and some harsh alcohol burn on the end. Not much chocolate/rich maltiness. Very thin body and fades on the end. This is not even close to a Belgian quad. Weak.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 Nate (3326) - Indiana, Pennsylvania, USA - AUG 21, 2012
Sampled at the brewery. Very mild aroma with a hint of bitter cherry wood, light swet malt - can sugar, almost. A bit of alcohol vapor. Medium coppery amber clear with off-white lacing head. Heavy body with medium carbonation and a bit of warming. Starts fairly dry despite its gravity. Good sweetness but tempered by dry woody-nutty character and cherry pit astringency. Very light cherry taste. Heavy finish with dry cherry nutty after.

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 estover (31) - Valencia, Pennsylvania, USA - JUN 15, 2012
A very light quad with just the slightest hint of cherry. Thin and a tad watery. Nothing really belgian about this quad except for the name.
