COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The next rotating Blast Furnace Stout is a Coffee Stout, a very rich stout. It has a notably sweet flavor profile, highlighted by the rich chocolate taste. However, the real component of this beer is the the blend of Italian Roast and Vienna Roast. We injected seven gallons of the brewed coffee inline during the transfer of the beer. With this process we hoped to eliminate the bitterness that the coffee may bring to the beer during the boil. What remains is a strong coffee flavor and aroma. The hop profile was also kept low so that the sweetness would not be overpowered.
