Aroma of apples, flavor is very cidery and spicy, not what I'd hoped for in that the rye is kind of blunted by the sweetness... Not the best ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Sampled on draft at the House of 1000 beers this beer poured a bright golden color with a medium sized foamy white head that faded quickly and left minimal lacing. The aroma was tartish and musty with touches of apple and chalk. The flavor was a bit tart and chalky with light notes of apple, bread, biscuit and must. Medium length finish of apple, bread and biscuit and turns a bit dry at the end. Medium body. Ok.

Draft at the brewpub. Pours a hazy golden color with a large head that quickly fades to nothing. Aroma of big spicy phenols, rye, bread, apples. The taste is tart apples, rye, bead, caramel and a spicy finish. Medium bodied. Interesting but a little disjointed.

From growler, courtesy of John C. Mild fruity character, bit of apple juice and light tart quality. Yeasty esters and a bit of banana and bubblegum. Medium golden amber clear with no head. Medium body with medium carbonation. Starts with neutral fruity character. Honey and mild apple cider vinegar tang. Yeasty bubblegum finish with orange tang and lasting juicy character.

On tap at the brewpub. Pours a clear golden yellow with a thin white head. Aroma of bready malt, melon rind, Belgian yeast, floral hops. Flavor of sweet fruits up front with a dry, bready malt finish. Simple, easy drinking. I canít say I get any rye notes specifically, as the name suggests. Itís good though! 7/4/7/4/14 (3.6/5)

Draft at Penn brew. Hazy golden color. Medium head. Aroma of clove and light fruit. Average carbonation. Light bodied. The cloves overpower the whole beer. Crazy. But still pretty good

This one poured a very hazy straw yellow color with a white head. Aroma was if light spices, some lemons, apple skins, and rye. Flavor was similar, very well melded, light apple juice notes, spices, yeast, and tart grapes. Overall a bit strange but refreshing.
