COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Easy Rider APA has arrived! And just in time for American Beer Month. American pale ales are quite a bit different than English pale ales. The most notable difference is the hop character. American pale ales are hopped with American hops grown in the Pacific Northwest, typically Chinook and Cascade. English pale ales are hopped with only the best English hops, East Kent Goldings. East Kent Goldings have an earthy taste and aroma, which create a beer that reminds you of a fine English tea. The flavor and aroma of the Chinook and Cascade hops are completely different! When downing an Easy Rider, or three, look for bitterness with flavors of grapefruit and other citrus flavors. Also notice the beautiful floral aromas created by the Cascade hops. Your attention will surely be focused on the hops, but don’t miss the malt profile! Easy Rider APA is copper in color, and has a medium body. It begins with a slight sweetness and is replaced quickly with an assertive and refreshing hop character. Easy Rider APA is perfect for these hot summer days, when only a beer as frisky as your summer demeanor will get you where you’re going. You know what I’m talking about, dog.

Pours with a clear amber body topped by a thin head with little lace. Sweet and fruity (citrus) hop aroma with some malty characteristics. Slightly sweet and hoppy flavor with citrusy notes and a bitter hoppy finish. Medium bodied and smooth.

Dark golden color, minimal head and lace. Not much aroma (none of our selections at the pub had much aroma this visit, exept the Non-Denominator). At first, there wasn't much upfront, but the finish was a wonderful blend of bright citrus hops mixed with thick and warming hops. (they listed it at 40 ibu). I let it warm a bit and found more bready malts coming out. Should've got a growler of this easy drinker.
