argo0 (6145), Washington DC, USA Jul 27, 2003 (SCBE2003): Hazy golden with small off-white head. Aroma is banana, clover and wheat -- all in good balance. Taste is lemon, clover, some wheat and banana, finishing lemon with slightly unplesant aftertaste. Light watery body, not especially crisp. Aurelius (2447), Tallahassee, Florida, USA Aug 12, 2006 Breight, cloudy yellow-white with an eighth-inch of clear beer at the top. Small fizz ring, not much head. Olive juice aroma. Lots of esters, but vinegary. Light diacetyl, light spice. Medium light body. Desperately needs a lemon. Drew (2375), Kent, Ohio, USA Jul 30, 2003 An easy hefe - I recomended it to my mom - she liked it a lot. Herbal/clove, lemony and smooth. Finished nice and dry. (at their pub 7/26/03) Vac (2231), San Diego, California, USA Aug 12, 2003 Pours with a cloudy golden body topped by a thin head. Slighlty sweet and lemony aroma with yeasty notes. Slightly sweet and lemony wheat flavor with yeasty notes and a crisp clean finish. Light bodied and smooth with a slight dryness. Nate (2212), Indiana, Pennsylvania, USA Aug 17, 2006 Very weak aroma, with mild wheat and only a little hops. Hardly any citrus or sweetness. Pale yellow golden, hazy, with thin fizzy head. Thin watery body with medium carbonation. I guess this is a German Hefeweizen, but it is extremely weak with little or none of the characteristics of a good wheat. No banana and clove, no yeasy wheat flavor. Only has the mildest of wheat sweetness and a tang of citrusy bitterness. Watery.
