Wow. This was one complex beer. Pour was a dark orange with no head. Aroma was strong and alcholic. Taste was very hot and hoppy. Burned the whole way down the throat into the beer belly. Leaves an astringent aftertaste. Very good, but it’s easy to tell that they were trying to make a big overpowering beer. The cask version was a little easier on the burn and the hops and caramel malt came out easier

On tap at Kelly’s Bar, Pittsburgh 10.11.07. This beer is a part of the supposed "Wet Hop Festival." Hazy orange off white head. Aroma is caramel, ketchup, slight smoke, malt. Flavor is smoke, acetone, slight banana, alcohol, bitterness. I think this beer could stand to be aged longer.

Tried this at the Pittsburgh Wet Hopped Festival at Kelly’s. Great amount of hops, reminded me a lot of Southern Tier Big Red
