Also known as the "2000 Trippel".
We designed this beer to be Belgian in character including the addition of imported malt. It is beautifully golden in color with a complex fruit-like aroma and bubbly effervescence. The body is big and malty, while the hop profile is subdued. Since this beer is bottle conditioned, the flavors will develop over time. Be patient and let it age.

Unfiltered dirty blond. No head, seems a little undercarbonated. Very heady banana bread aroma. Sweet & thick, not bad.

On tap into a vsampler glass. Appearance is a hazy gold. Aroma is a citrusy and fruity. Taste is dried fruits and finishes with a taste of alcohol. Medium bodied. Overall, its alright.

750 ml bottle. Pours a golden honey amber with a small white head. Aroma of fruit, candied sugar, malt and yeast. Taste of fruit, candied sugar, malt and Belgian yeast. Sweet and watery. Has a slight peppery aftertaste.

750ml Bottle: Sweet aroma of Belgian yeast, candi sugar, fruit, apples, light spice, and a hint of cinnamon. Poured amber in color with no head. Cloudy. Very slightly sparkling. Full of tiny particles throughout. Flavor is heavily sweet. Tastes of slight Belgian yeast, alcohol, apples, fruit, slight caramel, malt, and honey. Medium body. Slick, then dry texture. Soft carbonation. Heavily sweet, apple, fruit, slight Belgian yeast, honey, and caramel finish is dry. 9% noticeable in the flavor, but not hot.

Draft. Very light blonde like a wit sort of color. Bubbly. floral, dough, light sweetness, medium bitterness, light body, thin feel. Nice overall. Does not have the Orange and spice for a blonde triple.

Bottle reads 2000 Trippel. A-pours a hazy golden orange color with a thin off white head. S-huge malt presence, very unlike a tripel, tons of caramel and sugar, toasted malt, light grain and wheat characteristic, lemon, clove, peppery spice. T-huge malt body and very syrupy flavors, caramel and carmelized sugar dominate, roasted toasty bread, hints of wheat and banana, light clove, the spice is faint but present. M-medium to light body, thinner, syrupy feel thin body, light carbonation, fairly dry finish, body doesn’t hold in back. D-very different, huge malt presence with a light estery backbone and yeasty/wheat characteristic. seems to balance out pretty nicely and i enjoy this one!

Bottle. Fruity malt & plum aroma. Darker golden body with thin head, lacing bubbles, light sediment. Flavor is fruity with light citrus... sweetened by the belgian yeast. Very smooth and sweet, easy to drink, alcohol is well hidden

A- Served at CBW in a flute glass. Body is densely foggy with no head or lacing. Cloudiness is translucent and uniform throughout. Very little carbonation can be seen rising to the top of my glass. S- Wow. This one has heavenly aromas. Lots of sweet, bready, Belgian yeast and fruit like esters rise and have a perfect balance. T- Fruity esters upfront with a heavy sweet bready yeast background. The taste intensifies for the swallow and adds a hint of spiciness. The large amount of bready yeast lingers on the palate wrapped in a soft warm alcohol blanket long after the swallow. P-Carbonation is medium and this does not have the champagne-like characteristic of most tripels-but that’s ok with me. Body light and smooth with an emphasis on they yeast. O- This is an excellent batch of Millenium that CBW has out right now. . It may, however, fall more into the category of BSPA rather than a tripel. On tap at the the Church. Golden color, modest to no head but quite thin for a triple. Some typical fruit flavors, citrus, and just a little spice. Some belgian yeast fragrance but not a great example.

Plovmand (7849) - Helsinge, DENMARK - NOV 30, 2009
Bottle. Hazy golden with floaties and a big white head. Sweet malty aroma with notes of light spice, yeast and fruit. The flavour is yeast, warming alcohol, straw, sweet malt and fruit. Very nice.
