Solid dunkle, nice creamy dark flavor and good body for a lager. Good for style. Not overly sweet like some dunkel a can be. Pretty spot on and great in quantities.

Draft. Poured a muddy amber brown with a medium-sized tan head that left some lacing. Aroma and flavor were roasty malt, a bit of nuttiness, some caramel, toffee, molasses. Body was a bit thin. Pretty solid dunkel, just not as complex as others I’ve tried.

This is a nice example of a dunkel. Good Pittsburgh brew. Would like to know more by them. Dark malt, medium hop, pine and caramel sweetness to it.

On tap at the brewpub. Pours a clear mahogany with a thick white head. Aroma of caramel, toffee, sweet malt. Flavor of the same - rich caramel malt. Not too sweet, somewhat thin-bodied. Decent dunkel, there’s not much going on here but it doesn’t offend.

Great Beer. One of their regulars that are brewed all year long. Hoppy but not heavy. Just a great german fest type of beers. My favorite among their regulars. Even better on draft at the brewery!
