Bottle. Amber through and through. That’s what this Dunkel reminded me of: a good old amber. Darker in appearance with a breadier filled aroma, but the taste was hop laced with a roasted note in the middle, bitter finisher.

Had on tap at brewpub. Poured a nice clear amber color, thin to no head. Aroma of caramel and toast. Flavor was some brown sugar and vanilla, some toast and a slight bitterness on the finish. This one was one of my favs from this trip

Poured a dark amber color with a head that disappeared quickly.Caramel and roastedness on the nose. Flavor was full body, with caramel, nutty, and bready notes. Finished off leaving a nice roastedness swirling around.

Draft at the brewpub. Pours a coke brown with no head. Aroma is slightly roasty but thin. Flavor is a roasted peatish malt taste that’s slightly thin.

Pours dark red with little to no white head, aroma has notes of some slight caramel, spice, earth, some slight buttery notes. Taste is some weird buttery notes, with a touch of caramel, spice, some bread. Ok, but definitely a bit off.

Thanks to Tedwarhc for this bottle. Served in a tulip.
Pours a bright light copper-brown color with a very, very thin white head and only a bubble or two on top after a few seconds. No lacing. The nose brings some light caramel and bread crust along with faint earthy hops. Flavor is a nice combination of lightly-toasted bread and very mild caramel along with a touch of sweetness and light hops. Light to medium body with moderate carbonation; fairly chewy. Refreshing bitterness on the back-end. Good brew.

Pours brownish from tap with a thin note of caramel on the nose. There’s a slight estery note on the tongue but it’s buried down pretty deep.

Full bodied, sweet, very malty, and pleasant belgian spicey notes. Certainly not the most complex beer, but a decent offering.

Draft. Poured a copper amber color. Aroma of sweeter malts and subtle hops. Taste is lite sweetness and lite bitterness. Lighter bodied. Have always like this one. Smooth tasting and the flaovor is there for a lite alcohol beer. Nice balance of malt and hops.
