Commercial Description:
When the British introduced draught pale ale to America, the Pipe Organ Pale Ale is what they had intended. It is truly British in character. Brewed with pale ale malt and a touch of caramel malt, it has a light copper color and subtle body. The maltiness is carefully balanced with only the best English hops - East Kent Goldings. Although this beer has a fair amount of hops, the caramel maltiness perfectly balances its profile.

Minty, somewhat hoppy scent. Slightly cloudy light amber. Buttery toffee malts and refreshing floral bitterness. More traditional than you’d expect!

Draft at brewpub. Light amber body, slight hops in nose, smallish head. Slightly fruity, slightly herbal/spicy, some bready notes, decent.

bottle- undoubtedly infected- inappropriate clove/bananna flavors with darkening in the cap- not a bit of a pale ale in there. unfortunate- would try fresh.

Pours copper/orange, white head. Aroma, yeasty, hoppy. Taste, reminded me a lot of Freaktoberfest, has this sirupy, medicinal taste almost like grenadine. Fruity with some citrus / grapefruit, and a strong hoppy aftertaste. Bitter finish, almost too much.

Dark golden color with a huge long lasting beige head. Aroma is sweet and musty with some sour citrus notes. Strangely bitter, musty and vegetation flavor.

12oz bottle from SS summer 08. Musty malt aroma. Gold body with big off white head. Starts out with some sweet malts and somewhat metalic. There was some dry fruit and bitterness. Rather mild brew, thanks Alan.
