COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Named after St. Arnold of Metz the Patron Saint of Brewers, we are introducing our St. Arnold Pale Ale. He professed to his congregation that beer was nutritious and safer to drink than water. Brewed in a Belgian Pale Ale in style, the St. Arnold Pale Ale is a unique and interesting example. At first appearance the St Arnold Pale Ale has a thick mousse-like head and a hazy copper color. Since the yeast used is unique, we left the beer unfiltered so that the character of the yeast would carry over (plus it’s a good source of B vitamins). Notice the aroma. It is complex and fruity, truly Belgian in character. As you sip the beer you will notice a prickly bite from the CO2 and a medium bodied mouthfeel. The dominant flavors are light caramel sweetness and some mild toasted maltiness. As the beer finishes, the hops barely balance out the sweetness. I hope you enjoy.
