gunhaver (660), Tampa, Florida, USA Sep 10, 2008 Bottle, at BA Throwdown #2. Pours a bronze sheen, creamy white head and very sticky lacing. Strong hops in the nose, citrus, huge tropical influence, lots of mango, notably and some cantaloupe. Flavors of bitter hops, citrus, and big on tropical fruit. Very tasty. Nice tangy body, smooth, hoppy as hell, very unique and very good. Real surprised by this gem. MrBeer (276), Erie, Pennsylvania, USA Apr 22, 2007 so far my favorite of the church brew. nice mix of hops and fruit, not overpowering but just right. overall a very tasty beer. hopscotch (4678), Vero Beach, Florida, USA Nov 30, 2004 This beer rocks!...They had just run out of Wit at the Brew Works and up went the slate with IPA on it. No specs were available from the staff at the time... Crystal clear, textbook amber ale with a small, creamy, white head. Cumulus lacing. Lots of fruity esters in the aroma (green banana and green apple) with notes of sweat and earth. Very nice, moderately bitter flavor. Well-balanced by a ton of malt. Toffee, pink grapefruit and pear. Full-bodied with an oily mouthfeel and lively carbonation. Lengthy, moderately bitter, dry finish. World class IPA! JCapriotti (1378), Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA Apr 19, 2007 At Church on cask. Glad I did. Cloudy gold with a frothed head. More or less flattish body, but nice. Caramelly malt covered by fruity smooth hops... all kinds of fruit but not bitter fruit. Slight pine too. Very nice beer. Bockyhorsey (2056), Mesa, Arizona, USA Sep 18, 2008 Bottle from Summer SS 08. Good citrus and fresh floral aromas. Cloudy cooper body with off white head and decent lacing. Good citrus grapefruit hop flavor with some sweet sugar addditive. Cool and crisp on the palate with citrus lingering on palate. Good brew thanks Alan.
