3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
12oz. Bottle: Hoppy aroma. Smells of hops, citrus, grapefruit, resin, and nectarine. Poured copper in color with a small, off-white head that disappeared. Clear. Very slightly sparkling. Flavor is lightly sweet and light to medium bitter. Tastes of hops, grapefruit, resin, citrus, fruit, and tropical fruits. Medium body. Dry texture. Average carbonation. Dry, hoppy finish is not all that bitter. 8%ABV is well hidden.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Had to take it by the bottle, but very nice double IPa, with plenty of aroma and florals but still firmly on the dry side. Very slightly hazy light amber, faur head

3.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
12 oz bottle from a trade with Linus_Stick. pours brown with a mid sized tan head that lasts forever. nice lacing on the glass. very dark orange, much darker then most IIPA’s. aromas of sweet maltiness. mostly caramel with some hops but the aromas are pretty subdued. flavours are smooth malts with piney hops, a touch of plastic near the finish. not very complex a little to sweet and the plastic almost ruin it all. not terrible but needs some ironing out.

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
12 oz. bottle. Poured deep amber with poor head retention. No lacing. Piney nose. Sweet and malty with a piney, citrus flavor. No alcohol noticeable. Nothing stands out about this one.

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle from Capones - Amber color with a medium head. Aroma is big and citrusy with some sweet, sugary essences. Flavor is a bit citrusy and piney with some sweet malts, but lacks a dominant "punch" that I would appreciate in the style (I would call it a regular IPA). Not bad at all - good stuff, just not in the "outstanding" category.

1.2 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20
12 oz bottle. Poured a dirty water brown with little carbonation and hardly any head. Smelled like wet bark. The hops were strong but one dimensional- all bitter and hard on the palate without any floral or citrus on the nose. There are so many better IPAs out there. Thundercr@p.

3.8 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours a cloudy light brownish copper with a medium sized white head. Beautiful aroma of faint grapefruit, grassy pine notes and sour hard candy. Taste of grapefruit with light piney resin and grass. Has a finish of lemon tea flavor. Surprisingly good.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Poured a slightly hazed amber with a large off-white head. The aroma is of those old fancy hard candy. They were shaped like a rectangular block and wrapped in a white paper that was folded over on the ends. The label had a picture of the fruit gel that was in the middle of the candy as well as the overall flavor. In this case it is the strawberry one. The flavor is of citrus, pine and earth with a moderately bitter finish.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle from cheapdark. Thanks man! Aromas of grapefruit and some sweet malts. Perhaps some toast. The beer pours a very nice color that one could describe as burnt sienna from that crayon box. Grapefruit and floral hops precede a decent malt backbone that is made up of caramel and toast. The malt becomes a little sweet, but it does balance the beer. I do get the vegetative note slightly, but it is moderate at most. Some floral hops linger on the palate as well as a light sweetness. Becomes a little astringent at times. It works, but it is not as assertive as I like my IIPA’s to be.
