Draft at the brewpub. Pours a clear copper color with a large tan head. Decent head retention. Aroma of citrus and tropical hops and toffee malts. The taste matches. Medium bodied, lingering bitterness, well balanced. Very nice beer.

Bottle sent to me by artmcd8. Nice tropical fruity hop nose with some lemongrass and doughy malt. The color is amber with just a pencil thin head pouring out on top. The flavors are a bit herbal with sharp bitter pine and some tropical fruity notes. Not a lot of carbonation. The body shows some slick malt but is overall rather light allowing this to go down easily. Surprised by the 8% abv; doesn’t taste it. The finish is dry and bitter. This isn’t a standout or anything but is everything a solid IPA should be.

The aroma is suddley hoppy, you can smell the malt also. This beer has a nice hoppy, citrusy flavor, the malt is very balanced. Decent brew overall.
4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 jbickus (12) - Illinois, USA - MAR 6, 2013
Not overaly hoppy on the aroma, still a bit resiny with a little citrus. The beer is well balanced, the malt punches through quite a bit with big carmel flavors, sweet and a bit earthy. Alcohol comes through a little but the mouthfeel is great, coating teh tongue quite well and fading very smoothly. Not overly bitter at all, decent IPA.
3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 jbruner (1129) - Tallahassee, Florida, USA - FEB 25, 2013
Pours a clear copper from the bottle with a thin ring of off-white lacy, that leaves little to no lace. Aroma of fresh hops, resinous pine and a hint of caramel malt. Taste follows, slight bitter, pretty standard american IPA, but nice to drink.
3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 jkwood04 (2297) - Connecticut, USA - FEB 23, 2013
12oz bottle in a tulip. Pours amber with a lacy, light beige head. Aroma of citrusy hops, caramel malts, dough, and some weird fruit notes. Flavor the same. Average texture. A decent beer but definitely not the best of the style.
3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 slatermcs (49) - - FEB 16, 2013
On tap at the brewery. Excellent hop aroma with bold lacing. Love love the hop bitterness with the malty sweetness at the finish. A great easy drinking IPA. Definitely recommended
3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 Nephilium (1153) - Ohio, USA - DEC 1, 2012
Nice pine hop aroma, pours a clear amber, with next to no head. Nice punch of hops, with a dry bitter finish. There’s a long lingering bitterness, low carbonation, and a medium body. Easy drinking, and a solid IPA.
