COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The aroma is crisp and clean as a lager should be. You will notice a medium malty character complimented with a unique nuttiness from the Quinoa. The color is copper to orange. When you sip this beer, you will notice a nice medium body with malty overtones, a slight nuttiness and a warming finish. The hop flavor is evident but not dominant, and the hop bitterness is intentionally low. The hop bitterness is kept low in order to accentuate the interesting character lent by the Quinoa. As the beer finishes, you will get a noticeable sweet maltiness and a mild bitterness, which will finish quickly.

On tap at the CBW 04.26.09. Clear gold with white head. Aroma is malty and hoppy. Flavor is malty, hoppy, and wheaty and there’s nothing distinctive here. I am not a super big fan of pale lagers though so, overall I guess this is a decent beer for the genre.

A good pale lager, though this beer is classified as a vienna (and tastes like one somewhat). Aroma was good. A mix of light malt and caramel malt with a hint of metal. Pour was a nice clear dark gold with a one finger big bubble-ful off white head. Taste was very metallic. The metal gives way to some caramel malt in the aftertaste. So so carbonation. Without the metallic taste this beer would be in the 3s.
