UPDATED: FEB 25, 2005 I am honored to be the first to review this great beer...and sadly, possibly the last (I asked if it would stick around long, and they said it wouldn’t make it to the end of the week). This beer is Black Pepper Infused, and that is the first thing to hit your senses. The beer pours a dark copper, with a quickly diminishing white head. The beer strikes the pallet with a burn of pepper and hop bitterness. The finish is clean, with little undesirable after taste, while leaving a pepper burn on the lips. As for my preference, it is missing a certain amount of carbonation. From Church Brew, my favourite so far!
