On Tap, Church Brew Works. Poured dark brown with a ruby hue. Thick, frothy, creamy, off-white head. Aroma was not strong, but yeasty. Flavor was bready. Sweet caramel hints, and hints of fruit in the end. Thin bodied. Sticky mouthfeel, with a lingering crisp sweetness the aftertaste.

Mar 23, 2007 On tap, at brewpub 3/10/07. Pours a clear cola brown color with a small film of white head. Decent retention. Light nutty and roasted malt aroma, with light hints of cocoa. Flavor is lightly fruity with some nutty malt, light coffee, a little cocoa, and some roast. Finishes slightly sweet. Mouthfeel is soft with moderate fine carbonation, slightly grainy on the finish. A pretty decent Alt, though it could be a little creamier with less nuttiness.

Mar 7, 2007 On tap at Church Brew Works, brown-amber color, with an off-white head, with a toasted malt nose, a faint floral hop, caramel note, with some raw cereals in the aroma follows through on a medium-bodied palate with a toasted malt character, nice flowery hop accent, with a mild biscuity malt note, subtle fruitiness, leading towards a leafy hop bitterness finish.
