Stinks of lemon and ammonia. Hairs-on-your-chest grapefruit hop bitterness with a long, sweet gust of biscuity malt after the swallow. Exemplary, quinine-bitter biscuity sessions sampled fresh at the brewery. Two completely independent extremes of flavour at once. Marvellous.

Cask Handpump at the Anchor, Birmingham 25/06/2005 Golden coloured and very hoppy with a sour taste. A hint of dryness and bitterness in a lasting malt finish.

Cask conditioned at The Cottage Tavern, Ashorne, Warks. Gold with white head. Perfectly reasonable session bitter, perhaps on the top end of session. Crisp tasty biscuity malt with hints of flowery hops. Its fine.
