COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Cask; Seasonal - Christmas.
Brewed with two American hops to give it a slightly smoky flavour. The barley and wheat give it that wonderful pale colour.

Pulled at The Altar from a pump adorned with Robbie Coltrane’s face. Less agrressively bitter than the Reinbeer, but a more rounded and pleasantly hoppy drop. Considered posting it as my 1000th rating, so it must have been good. Almost onion-like, ganja-ish fresh hopcone sweatiness in the nose. Just sniff that. Musty, tangy citrus with peanut husk and biscuit. Generously hopped, citrussy ale with a softening sweetness in the aftertaste.

Cask Handpump at the Harlequin, Sheffield 13/12/2008 Fruit and hop aromas. Small white head. Golden coloured floral and hoppy. Creamy on the palate. Crisp dry and slightly bitter malt finish.

(Cask, December 2007). Dark straw colour with a very short head. A slight scent of some hop. Good body, moderate bitterness. Quite floral in the mouth, some hops present. OK, but a bit average.

From cask in 3 Judges had in house from milk carton. Aroma is minimal, pale malt and honey hints. Taste is like strong water with hints of a herby, peppery, sulphurs salt. But very drinkable.
