Hand pulled at the Wellington, Birmingham, in the presence of Maeib. Not too much aroma, but a thick mouthfeel. Rich flavour, reminiscent of a sub-Stout-Mild. Plenty of caramel swished in, to bring things to a lighter conclusion. Very drinkable and definitely one of Church End’s better efforts.

Cask conditioned - Handpump - Wellington Birmingham. A dark ruddy brown coloured mild with a fruity caramel Midlands mild nose. The taste again is fruity and has lots of caramel and is typical of the Midlands mild style. Note the pump clip has the Teletubby Dipsey on it, so look out for Po’s Porter, Tinky Winky’s Tipple and La-La’s Light Ale coming to an ale house near you soon.
