Cask at the Wenlock Arms, London on 8th Sept 2009. Pale gold with dissipating white head of foam. Delicately hoppy with some malty roundedness. Slight saltiness, saline mouthfeel and a few, discernable, savoury notes which make the pint all the more satisfying.

Cask Handpump at the Harlequin, Sheffield 22/08/2009 Floral hop aroma. Clear golden coloured fruity and hoppy with a crisp and slightly bitter creamy malt finish.

Cask at The Wenlock Arms. Ple golden, small head. Sharp green apples, good bitterness. Decent.

One of the first CE beers I’ve sampled anywhere but the brewery, and it’s travelled well, if only up ’road to the Tunnel Brewery. Gold pint with a tint of lime green. Notably creamy head and lace for Church. Nose is pure undiluted urinal/ammonia. Green hop bite and oaty biscuit. Very Church and very good.
