Cask at The Craven Arms; dark brown pour with soapy tan head, roast malt aroma, taste had coffee with some dark fruits.

Cask @ March Hare, Dunton. Dark brown, clear with very little head or lacing. Aroma of powdered chocolate and crystal malt, with a hint of woodsmoke. Taste is sweet and light, carrying the flavours throughout the profile. Dry finish with a sweet edge. A wonder of a mild ale.

Cask, one-third pint, GBBF 2013. Jet black body with a rustic tint. Bubbly ring to the edge of the glass. Inviting dark caramel aroma. Biscuit malty taste, fine roasted. A little roasted bitterness to the ending. Decent mild. Easy to drink (London Olympia 15.08.2013).

(Cask, GBBF 2013): Almost black with a small off white head. Aroma of roasted malt and coffee beans. Smooth coffee flavour with roasted malt and caramel hitting afterwards. Not much else to it, little bland.

GBBF. Black with bubbly head. Smells of watered down nail varnish. Taste - slight roasted barley, then bubblegum. Lots of bubblegum. Extremely easy drinking.

Appearance: Dark brown color with a creamy off white head. Light lacing.
Aroma: Slightly sweet and mild coffee/roasted malt.
Palate: Medium body. A bit sweet and a light bitterness. Soft carbonation.
Taste: Mild sweetnes. Dominating roasted malt and coffee.
Overall impression: Plain and easy drinkable.
