Ungstrup (23960) - Oamaru, - MAY 8, 2009
Cask at Lord Nelson, Copenhagen. A hazy golden beer with a creamy off-white head. The aroma is sweet citrusy with lighter notes of malt and flowers. The flavor is sweet with notes of citrus and green apples, in a good way, as well as some flowery notes making it very refreshing. The finish is dry and citrusy.

Cask @ Lord Nelson, Hyskenstræde 9, 1207 København, Denmark
Clear medium yellow orange color with a average, fizzy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, caramel notes, moderate hoppy, apple flower notes. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is light to medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20090517]

(Cask at Lord Nelson, Copenhagen, 23 May 2009) Pale yellow colour with frothy, white head. Fruity taste with bread, citrus and a touch of dish water. Fruity taste with notes of citrus, grass and white bread. Low citrussy bitterness in the finish. Thin and watery, fairly boring. No ESB in my book.

Rune (4924) - Tromsø, NORWAY - MAY 27, 2009
220ml taster, cask at Lord Nelson, Copenhagen. Naked surface. Shining golden body. Floral hoppy to the nose. More malt-fruity in flavour with resinous hints. Short bitterness to the ending. A bit metallic in the mouth. Medium bodied. An ESB on an average level, I would say (13.05.2009).

OleR (3658) - Oslo, NORWAY - MAY 22, 2009
Cask conditioned@Lord Nelson, Copenhagen. Foggy, pale copper. Thin, coarse offwhite head. Modest aroma of ripe, mealy apples. Thin dryish malt body. Faint grassy bitterness. Light-bodied and mellow. Body is very soft carbonated, feels watery in the mouth. Empty finish. Quite neutral, quite boring.

Cask. Low and quickly disappearing white head. Slighly hazy light yellow body. Weak mild and sweet fruity aroma. Flavor is a mild mixture of apple pear and citrus with a very smooth mouthfeel. Unfortunately it is also a bit watery. Low carbonation, long sweet aftertaste.

Draught. Hazy golden. Fruitish bit sweet hoppy aroma. Soft mouthfeel. The flavour has a soft fuitiness with some caramel, mild bitterness, some citrus and... apples. Refreshing.

Cask at Lord Nelson. Poured a cloudy golden. A fruity aroma (Grapefruit and some citrus notes) with a hoppy undertone. Flavor started fruit and sweety and built to a slightly bitter end. One of my favorite casks.
