Bottle (bottle conditioned) from Stirchley Wines & Spirits, Pershore Road, Birmingham. This may have been classed as a bitter but I’d say it is more of a golden ale. Pours a clear amber with sediment. Nice head with a decent lifespan. Faint, citrus aroma with some fruity hops. Poor mouthfeel - too fizzy for my tastes and more in line with a pale lager. Taste is initially bitter but soon gives way to sweetness and a huge shot of citrus. Decent session/barbeque ale but not at all memorable.

Bottle that Barry picked up at SH Jones, Bicester, Oxon, Saturday 29th October 2011, cheers Barry. Pours gold with a lacing of filmy white tiny bubbles. Little bit floral on the nose, lightly fruity in the mouth with citrus showing, though also a touch flowery in mouth. A6 A4 T6 P3 Ov13 3.2

Cask-conditioned at the Cross Hands, Winterbourne Down, S Gloucestershire 18/05/09. Golden in colour with a slight, lacy white head. Citrus hop aroma with some malt sweetness and hay. Flavour began sweet, before a touch of grapefruit and orange and decent dry finish. Drinkable.

Alphadelic (1470) - Portland, Oregon, USA - APR 8, 2009
Bottle: Pissy colour and the aroma of fuddy, wet animals. Less than appealing start to what turned out to be a stale and boring brew. Te only notable thing here is the boozy petrol finish. Bleh
