Cask. A hazy pale amber beer with a thin beige head. The aroma has notes of malt and caramel. The flavor is sweet malty with light notes of sulphur, leading to a dry and bitter finish.

Clear medium yellow amber color with a small to average, frothy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, light hoppy, citrus - orange. Flavor is moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20100120]

DruncanVeasey (5146) - NUNEATON, Blue Square Prem, Warwickshire, ENGLAND - APR 4, 2010
Cask handpull at the brewtap. At last some interest. Pale ruby with a thin off-white halo. Rounded fruit aroma dragging in overripe strawberry, pineapple, sticky raisin, fruit salad chews, tacky molten toffee. Flavour has almond again, but swamped in juicy dried fruit and cakey malt. Thickness, balance, flavour. Creamy with faint nut afters. Tasty ESB/ESA/whatever- 5.5% ABV and tastes it. Good to know Church can still pull it off.

Cask Stillage at NWAF The Venue, Miles Platting 20/01/2010 Floral and slightly spicy aroma. Golden coloured and a little rich on the palate with a hint of dryness in a full malt finish.
