This is a special beer for the campaign to save the HP sauce factory in Birmingham from closure. It’s also the first beer that I’ve had where I had to sign a petition before the bar would serve it to me! Cask Handpump at The Wellington, Birmingham. Black with a foamy head which goes quickly. (Darker than the sauce). Aromas are predominantly roasted chocolate, with an aftertaste that tastes not dissimilar to HP sauce.
