Gravity cask at the Birmingham CAMRA Beer Festival 2015. Poured a clear clear medium amber with a bubbly white head. The aroma is light toffee malt, some fruit. The flavour is light bitter with a light, slightly watery, woody hop, light sweet malt palate. Light to medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Cask at the Stockton Ale and Arty Beer Fest. Amber with a small white head. Not too bad - grapefruit at first with a little pineapple too. Refreshing and easy drinking. Could do with a bit more flavour.

First tasted this at the Mossend Beer Festival in June 1999. Cask, handpump dispense. Clear copper red in colour with a thin white head. Slight note of marmalade in the short aroma. Resiny mouthfeel and good lacing. Pale malts give a weak digestive biscuit base with redcurrant fruit, soft burnt caramel and orange peel. Strong hop presence with a dry bitter aftertaste. Finish is slightly malty with toffee notes coming through. An ok session bitter.
